PITCHLY

    Interview preparation

AI interview practice for Australian jobs.

Practise out loud with an AI interviewer that uses the role, job ad and career information you choose to provide. Review follow-up questions, a transcript and estimated feedback before the interview that matters.

Practice is for preparation before an interview. Pitchly does not provide covert answers during a live employer interview.

Practise for the role you actually want.

Generic question lists can help you get started, but they do not recreate the pressure of answering in the moment. Pitchly uses the job context you provide to run an interactive practice conversation, ask relevant follow-ups and keep the session focused on the role.

Questions built from the job context

Add a job ad, role title or application you are already working on. Pitchly uses that context to prepare questions about the responsibilities, capabilities and evidence the role appears to require.

Follow-ups that respond to your answer

The interviewer can ask for a clearer example, more detail or a better explanation instead of moving through a fixed list without listening.

    A transcript you can review

Read what you said, find the point where an answer became vague or repetitive, and choose what to practise again in your own words.

    How it works

A focused practice loop in three steps.

    1. 01

      Add the role

Choose an existing Pitchly application or provide the job details you want the practice session to use. Check the imported information before you begin.

    2. 02

      Answer naturally

Respond as you would in an interview. Use a real example when you can, explain your part in it and say what changed because of your work.

    3. 03

      Review and repeat

Use the transcript and estimated feedback to choose one improvement for the next attempt. The aim is a clearer, more truthful answer—not a memorised script.

What the feedback helps you review.

Interview feedback is most useful when it points back to something you actually said. Pitchly separates observations from suggestions so you can decide what applies.

    Relevance and evidence

Check whether the answer addresses the question, uses a specific example and makes your contribution clear.

    Answer structure

See whether the situation, task, action and result are easy to follow without forcing every response into the same formula.

    Clarity and delivery

Review pacing, repetition and unclear phrasing where those signals are available from the practice mode you use.

    The next practice step

Leave the session with one concrete change to try, such as adding a result, shortening the setup or explaining a decision more directly.

    Practice guide

A simple routine for a stronger second attempt.

    • First attempt: answer without notes so you can hear where you hesitate, generalise or lose the question.

    • Evidence check: confirm that every example is accurate and that you can explain your own actions, decisions and results.

    • One edit: improve the weakest part of the answer instead of rewriting everything at once.

    • Second attempt: answer again in fresh language. Keep the evidence; do not memorise the transcript word for word.

    • Final review: note any question that needs more research, a better example or advice from someone who knows the role.

    Frequently asked questions

Is Pitchly an AI mock interview for Australian jobs?

Pitchly provides interactive interview practice using the job and career context you choose to add. It can ask follow-up questions and provide a transcript and estimated feedback for you to review.

Can I practise for a specific role?

Yes. Add a job ad, role title or saved Pitchly application. Check the role details before starting so the practice uses the context you intended.

Will Pitchly give me answers during a real employer interview?

No. Pitchly is designed for preparation before an interview and does not provide covert answers during a live employer interview.

What does the estimated feedback mean?

It reviews observable qualities such as relevance, specificity, structure and clarity under the practice criteria used for that session. It is not the employer's rubric or a prediction of the hiring outcome.

Does an AI mock interview guarantee a better result?

No. Practice can help you review and improve your answers, but Pitchly cannot know the exact questions or decisions an employer will use and cannot guarantee an interview or job offer.

    Methodology

    How Pitchly estimates interview feedback.

Pitchly generates practice questions from the job and career context available to the session. It reviews the resulting answer for observable qualities such as relevance, specificity, structure and clarity, then produces an AI-generated estimate and coaching notes.

The estimate is a practice aid, not an employer’s rubric. Different interviewers can value different evidence, ask different follow-ups and reach different conclusions. Treat each suggestion as something to consider, not an instruction you must follow.

    Important limitations.

Pitchly cannot know the exact questions, scoring guide, panel preferences or hiring decision an employer will use. AI can misunderstand context, overlook a strong example or suggest wording that does not sound like you. A practice score does not predict an interview result, and no practice tool can guarantee an interview or job offer.

    Privacy

    Choose your practice inputs carefully.

Voice practice may process audio and create a transcript. Your session may also use job details, a resume or other career information you choose to provide. Before starting, review the on-screen consent information and Pitchly’s Privacy Policy for current details about processing, storage, retention and deletion. Do not include classified, confidential or sensitive workplace information.

    Responsible use

Prepare honestly and keep your own voice.

Use AI to practise, organise and clarify what you genuinely know. Do not invent experience, inflate results or copy a model answer you cannot explain. Your strongest interview evidence is specific, truthful and recognisably yours.
