PITCHLY

    Resume review

ATS resume checker for Australian job applications.

Compare your resume with a specific job ad, review estimated compatibility signals and see which gaps deserve a closer look. Pitchly keeps the result explainable so you can improve the document without turning it into a list of copied keywords.

The result is an estimate for your review. It is not a replica of an employer’s applicant tracking system or a prediction of a hiring decision.

Review the resume and the role together.

An ATS-style review is more useful when it compares your document with the job you are applying for. Pitchly looks for alignment, evidence and document issues that may make relevant experience harder to find.

    Role language

Identify important terms and requirements from the job ad, then check whether your resume expresses the same capability in accurate, natural language.

    Supporting evidence

Distinguish between a word appearing on the page and experience that actually supports it. A missing phrase may need a clearer example, while a genuine skills gap should remain a gap.

    Structure and parseability

Flag headings, layout choices or extracted text that may make the resume more difficult for software or a recruiter to read.

    Items to review

Turn the analysis into a short list of changes you can accept, edit or ignore after checking them against your experience.

    How it works

From job ad to a reviewable result.

    1. 01

      Add the job ad

Paste the description or use job information already saved in Pitchly. Check that the role, employer and requirements are complete enough for a useful comparison.

    2. 02

      Choose your resume

Select the version you plan to use for this application. Different resume versions can produce different results against the same job.

    3. 03

      Review the signals

Read the explanation behind the estimate, check the highlighted evidence and decide which changes are both relevant and true.

    Before you apply

Five checks that matter beyond a score.

    • The resume names the capabilities that matter for this role and backs them with real experience.

    • Important qualifications, licences and work requirements are easy to find where they are relevant.

    • Standard section headings make the document easy to scan.

    • The exported file contains selectable, readable text and the content appears in the intended order.

    • Every statement is accurate, current and something you can explain in an interview.

Australian resume conventions vary by profession, career stage and employer. Follow the job ad’s instructions when they differ from general guidance.

    Methodology

    How Pitchly estimates ATS fit.

Pitchly compares the resume text and structure with the job information provided. The review considers signals such as relevant language, supported experience, identifiable sections and whether important content can be extracted for analysis.

The estimate describes this resume against this job ad at this point in time. It is not a universal resume grade. Changing the job ad, the resume version or the available text can change the result.

What this checker cannot tell you.

Employers use different recruitment systems, configurations, screening questions and human review processes. Pitchly does not have access to an employer’s private ATS rules, candidate pool or final assessment. The checker can miss context and cannot determine whether you meet a requirement that is not supported by the information provided. It does not guarantee that a resume will be parsed, shortlisted or accepted.

    Privacy

Review personal information before you upload.

Resumes can contain contact details, employment history and other personal information. Remove anything you do not want processed, and do not include confidential information from a current or former workplace. Read Pitchly’s Privacy Policy for current information about processing, storage, retention, service providers and deletion options.

    Your review

Improve relevance without gaming the document.

Use the job ad’s language when it accurately describes your experience. Do not hide keywords, copy requirements you do not meet or add claims solely to raise an estimated score. The goal is to make genuine evidence easier to find for software and people.

Check the resume you plan to send.

Compare it with the job ad, read the explanation and keep only the changes you can support.
